PC Really “Digs” Volleybros

Panther Creek’s student council has put together, planned, and hosted Volleybros 2015. Volleybros is an event in which any student from any class can sign up to participate in a volleyball tournament in front of the entire school.

The male students serve as the players of the team and the girls are the coaches. This is similar to our annual Powder Puff event, which involves girls being coached by the boys in a rivalry football game.

This year, Volleybros was a huge success. The freshman faced the sophomores and the juniors faced the seniors. PCNN is digging into what occurred at these intense games.

Volleybros consisted of six games total, three being played by the freshmen/sophomores and three being played by juniors/seniors.

Both the underclassmen and upperclassmen consist of one blue team and one black team who play against each other. Each set played contained fifteen points. In the three underclassmen games, the sophomore black team reigned victorious by winning two of the three sets. In the upperclassmen match, the junior class beat the seniors by winning two of the three sets.

All in all, Panther Creek’s Volleybros was a success and everyone involved had a lot of fun!
