Netflix is a worldwide phenomenon – with 44 million subscribers, it is a very popular platform for entertainment.

PCNN interviewed Panther Creek students about their Netflix habits. We found that many students had similar habits when it comes to watching Netflix. Many participate in what is now called “binge watching”, an activity where one sits down and participates in watching several consecutive television shows or movie marathons for hours on end.

For example, Daniel Olivera (12) watched nine seasons of “Scrubs” in three days. The longest period of time that most of the interviewed students spent Netflix was twenty-four hours straight. All of the students admitted to have Netflix going on in the background while doing their homework.
