This election season marks the first election our current eligible seniors can vote in. Last Tuesday, March 15, was super Tuesday. North Carolina and four other states held their primary elections that day. Not only is voting a right of passage for american teenagers, it is a way for citizens to voice their opinions to the government. We interviewed a few students and asked them about their experience voting for the first time.

This was my first time experiencing the early voting and the process of voting. I turned 18 in September of 2015 and I went to get my drivers license, one of the men working asked me if I wanted to register for the 2016 election, and I said yes. The registration process was very quick and easy, it took least than five minutes. Being apart of early voting was a great experience, I learned so much about all of the local primaries for this years election.
