Since 2004, Moogfest has been bringing a unique event that features music, art and technology. This year’s Moogfest is held in Durham, North Carolina. Being one of the biggest events yet, Moogfest is featuring more than seventy music artists and over 100 speakers and organizations. From May 19th to May 22nd, Moogfest is offering workshops, installations, conversations and performances ranging from electronic to Hip Hop.

Who we’re excited to see

King Mez

Born in Kentucky but raised in Raleigh, King Mez is an upcoming star, being named a 2016 XXL Freshman. Having already worked with hip-hop big whigs such as Rapsody and J.Cole, Mez has experience in the mainstream rap life, which gives him an edge on other upcoming rappers.


Tory Lanez

Tory Lanez has some of the greatest potential of any upcoming rapper in the game. Lanez made his first big appearance on YG’s album in 2014. Now, Lanez’s hit single “Say It” has over seventy-four million views on Youtube.


Denzel Curry

Denzel Curry is yet another 2016 XXL Freshman appearing at Moogfest this year. In 2013, Curry dropped his first studio album titled Nostalgia 64. Curry also dropped a double EP last year titled 32 Zel/Planet Shrooms. Curry grew up in Carol City, Florida.

Growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina, Well$ has a passion for hip-hop. After releasing his debut EP $ay La V, Well$ earned on stage performances with big name artists such as G Eazy and Chris Webby. Well$ was also named a 2016 XXL Freshman.
