On Friday, November 21st , 2014 , Panther Creek High School hosted their very first pep rally. The reason for the rally, was to get the football team hype for round two of playoffs. All of the seniors, juniors, and sophomores were all at the pep rally while the freshman watched it live on the T.V.s in their classrooms. There were several performances from the varsity cheerleaders and the dance team. The football players, cheerleaders, women’s soccer team and the teachers all had a dance off. Cheerleaders performed to “ I’m so Fancy” by Iggy Azalea, while the teachers danced to “Crank that Soulja Boy” by Soulja Boy. The football players and women’s soccer team created their own dance and song.

The pep rally started with Coach Hepp, rocking his blue morph suit, tried to get the crowd hyped by having scream out PCHS. The varsity cheerleading team performed their routine. After their performance the dance team showed the crowd their routine. Once the dance team and cheerleaders performed, the dance battle started. The cheerleaders, football players and women’s soccer team performed when the last group came on the stage. Everyone started screaming when they saw the golf cart coming out with the catamount, Mrs.Barrett, Ms.Moreno, Mr.Ray, Mrs.Duncan and Ms. Price jumped out of the golf cart and brought the party along with them. Coach Hepp gave a couple of cheerleaders, who were dressed in Green Hope attire, their very own Green Hope starter pack. They received binoculars because no matter how good a falcons vision is, they couldn’t see the last time they won a SWAC conference (which was ten years ago), a beak for all the smack they talk, gloves because they live everywhere except for where temperatures are below thirty degrees (which was the predicted temperature that night), and the trophy because we shared the title as SWAC Conference Champions. At the end of the pep rally, all of the students ran out of the gym to rush to their cars and buses, and many of them were ready to show their school spirit at the game.

The students at Panther Creek high school really enjoyed the pep rally. They were cheering for the football team when they played Green Hope high school. The football team was hype enough to win the second round of playoffs and going into the third rounds. So overall the pep rally was a success.
