How Are Panther Creek Students Preparing For Finals?
Finals week is right around the corner for students at the Creek. With pressure from classes and exams, students have been preparing for these tests for a few weeks. PCNN reporters took a deep dive into the preparation students are taking for their exams, this is what we found.
We interviewed students and the most common studying method was not doing much studying at all. According to Junior Tamar Cognatin, he plans to look over his notes and take advantage of the review guides provided by his teachers. He plans to review for his advanced placement computer science class using code.org and looking over previous projects he has completed. He also mentioned that he was going to use Delta Math for math and Kahoot for history.
Cognatin also expressed his excitement for his plans after the exams during the upcoming semester.
Panther Creek also allows senior students to be exempt from their exam if they have above a 70 in their designated class. Such is the case for 12th grade Carys Black who said she “plans to skip each and every final.” She said if she had to she would most likely review with her flashcards.
Noah Harter** said he plans to approach his finals using his study guides from his teachers. He is already looking past exams and is ready and excited to take sports medicine next semester.
Panther Creeks finals will take place starting on the 20th of January and continuing through the following week before the start of the second semester.. Good luck to all of our Catamounts from the Panther Creek News Team!
