The 11/5 Football Fight For 55
The Catamounts took Green Hope’s field on Monday night for a thrilling matchup against our long time rivals. Panther Creek jumped on them quickly, having a great first quarter, the score was 17-7.
Three receivers for the Cats had 45+ yard touchdowns, and QB Alexander Ahlquist had 5 total touchdown passes. One of the most exciting plays of this extremely intense game, was when receiver Jaden Boone caught a pass tipped by an opposing defender for a 48 yard touchdown.
The game went down to the wire even in the final seconds of the game. With 7 seconds left in the game, Ahlquist lobbed up a 17 yard game-winning touchdown pass to Khilen Holliman. It left Green Hope in shock! Panther Creek won the football Fight for 55 with a final score of 38-34.
