The Amazing Season from PC Soccer

In previous years Panther Creek High School has been known for their outstanding and exceptional sports programs. This fall, the Men’s Varsity Soccer team made it to the third round of playoffs for the first time in history. In the first round of playoffs Panther Creek defeated Corinth Holders with a victorious score of 4-0. For the second round of playoffs the Catamounts played for the win against the Apex Friendship Patriots with a score of 1-0. Lastly, in the third round of playoffs Panther Creeks successful season came to an end against Green Hope with a score of 0-4.

The notorious Chad Sichak, Head Coach of the varsity men’s soccer team made a major contribution to the success of this year’s team, as well as the rest of the coaching staff. One key factor that led to their success was coach Sichak identifying the team’s strengths and weaknesses to embrace and to improve upon. In an interview he stated that “we need to up our intensity” and “defense is the strength of our team”.
