3-3 PC vs 5-1 GH Football Fight for 55

On Friday October 4, chaos will strike as the Panther Creek Catamounts will take on the Green Hope Falcons in a football fight for 55 showdown. The fight for 55 is often considered one of the top and most competitive rivalries in the county. High School OT will broadcast this game live as this game will be one of the High School OT Live Games of the Week. When these two teams get together there is no disappointment. Last season, the Cats won on a last second touchdown pass from quarterback Alexander Alquist to Khilen Holliman. This year, most expect for the game to be just as thrilling. Despite being  5-1, many questions raise on Green Hope’s, strength of schedule. On MaxPreps, they are in the bottom half of the state in overall opponent competition. The Cats come in 3-3 with two of their losses coming to Leesville and Havelock, both being ranked in the top 10 of their different classifications. You can expect this to be the most crowded game yet. We asked a  large sample of Panther Creek students were they going to attend the game, and an overwhelming 72% of the responses were yes. We can expect a packed house at Green Hope Stadium on Friday Night. Will you be there Friday Night?
