Kara is looking forward to making the team, and then she added “I want to win a lot”.
Another freshman, Adit Prasad, is trying out for the baseball team at Panther Creek. Prasad said “I’m just trying to make the JV roster this year”. He also added “I like playing baseball more than any other sport”. Prasad plays soccer outside of school while also playing baseball for the school. He noted that he is “going to have to prioritize baseball and probably make a new schedule”. The freshmen athletes at Panther Creek are setting up for a great future here at Panther Creek.
Senior Rahul plays Tennis for Panther Creek and he is preparing for his final season at PC. Rahul moved here in the second semester of his 9th grade year, so tennis was the first place that he met a lot of his friends. Rahul plans on going to a university and playing for their club tennis team. Rahul said the main focus this year for the team was “maintaining a growth mindset”. He also mentioned the men’s tennis team winning Team of the Year last year, and he said that the team wants to not only meet those expectations, but exceed them.
With the final athletic season of the school year starting up, we would like to wish each spring team the best of luck during their seasons! Go Catamounts!
