Our PCNN interviewer spoke to multiple students about their opinions on the new changes to classrooms. student- “I prefer LED lights in the classroom because it makes the classroom more interesting…therefore making me want to work more in class.”  With this being said there are still preferences on what color light is the best for a classroom setting, student- stated “I prefer blue because blue is my favorite color and it adds a soothing mood to the classroom” on the other end of the spectrum student- has some colors that are not necessarily one they’d enjoy in a classroom “Yellow bothers me because it’s not vibrant enough so it gives a very dull and boring mood to the classroom. I usually skip from that color to a happier and more exciting one.”

One thing that may be a concern is the student’s engagement and participation while these lights are in use, considering they can be distracting. Student- says “I believe that it does provide a boost because it encourages students to be more engaged and attentive to their work”
