The days are shorter, the nights are longer and the weather has gotten colder! Fall is finally here, and so is a new wardrobe. What makes seasonal fashion so versatile and flexible is that each and every individual has their own distinct, unique, and personalized style. Fashion is one of many outlets for self-expression, and it’s a way for Panther Creek students to express their individuality on a daily basis. PCNN reporters interviewed some of the school’s most fashionable students and got their perspective on any new fashion trends for this fall, as well some pointers on their personal style.

Fall fashion is something that is always changing and expanding based on current trends. Everybody has their own sense of style and that is apparent just by walking the halls of PC. It seems as though people get their clothing and fashion inspiration from many different sources. After interviewing a couple of different people we had a variety of responses regarding their inspiration. David Laster, junior, said “I got my inspiration from my friend Devon. We would go to Urban Outfitters to shop, but it was really expensive.” Based on Devon’s styling, he found cheaper ways to recreate current trends. It is clear that there are many different viewpoints when it comes to fashion inspiration.

Along with a person’s individual style and inspirations, there are a lot of current fall fashion trends that people use for their own like flannel button ups, boots, sweaters, and big cardigans.  A lot of who were interviewed talked about their favorite trends and the majority of people seemed to be in line with current trends. Junior Josh Carson said that his staple fall piece were boots and flannels along with a nice fall jacket. Josh and senior Amber Morgan said that she loved big cardigans and that it was her favorite staple piece. Someone who seemed to be branding off on a fall trend was Senior, Stephen Risk,  when he said one of his favorite fall essentials was Crew Neck sweatshirts. It is easy to see the variety in fall trends around the school and the ways that people decide to work them into their everyday fall wardrobes. The video  shows off their unique styles of how they view fall fashion.
