Many people wear different brands for different reasons. Whether it is for keeping up with the latest fashion trends, feeling comfortable, or simply because you like it, clothing brands play a major role in society today. We wanted to find what reasons drive people to buy and wear certain brands, as well as what brands they think are overrated and how those brands got popular in the first place.

When asked what are your favorite brands, sophomore Hannah Murphy responded with Nike, Adidas, and Champion. When asked why, she said, “They are very comfortable, good quality, and a lot of people wear them.”

Many clothing brands are believed to be overrated so we decided to find out which ones people thought were the most. Senior, Dre Barbee said he believes Fila is the most overrated brand because it doesn’t have an appealing logo and is only successful because of good advertising.
