AJ Dubee plans to join the Marine Corps and attend Arizona State after his time.

Here at Panther Creek, we talked to some seniors about how they are preparing for college. Most students plan on going to university to focus on their careers, so they want to get into the schools that best suit their needs.

Senior PCHS student, Ben Edwards, explained that he is expecting to end up at either NC State or UNC-Chapel Hill. He wants to attend since they both provide in-state tuition and the programs he needs to work in a law firm.

Other students like AJ Dubee want to join the Marine Corps as infantry. He plans to take online courses through a technical school during his time as a Marine. Eventually, AJ wants to attend Arizona State University after finishing his time in the Marine Corps. While working hard towards his goals by exercising and learning about the various ranks and duties, his goal is to retire in 20 years.

Students are preparing for college applications by writing their college essays, keeping their grades up, and attending every class, trying to do all they can. Among seniors, the common goal is to get into a good college, get a good job, and live a fulfilling life. All of this stems from how you choose to prepare yourself for the future. It’s safe to say these students and many others have prepared sufficiently and are on the right path to success.
