The Underclassmen Prom – The Snowball!
Panther Creek’s first-ever snowball dance is coming up this Saturday. During this time of preparation, our PCNN reporters dove deeper into the behind-the-scenes of our newest addition to The Creek’s dance repertoire.
Student council representatives recently announced the unveiling of our winter dance, “The Snowball Dance,” to students a few weeks ago. They claim it was in popular demand as a request from students.
The student council’s Jean Luis Gracia said, “It is a dance primarily for underclassmen,” in other words, a “Prom for underclassmen”!
As the Snowball Dance starts, Panther Creek High School’s prom dates have also been revealed. The Creek’s third dance of the year will be hosted on May 6th at Sheraton Imperial Hotel. Tickets will start to be sold on the 1st of March.
Jean Luis Gracia further explained the process, explaining they needed to find a date, time, and buy food and decorations for the special night. Student council planned out the Snowball as intended to be an experience between homecoming and prom. Many of the ideas for the dance were made by Freshman and Sophomore council members, who also led the proactive planning and purchasing preparation.
The Snowball dance had just passed, and students had a wonderful time! We cannot wait to see how the rest of the dances at the Creek turn out!
