Panther Creek Homecoming Week is one of the most fun times of the year.  You get to dress weirdly without getting judged, choose your homecoming queen, and watch your school football team beat your conference rival.  Among the week’s festivities, the dance is most anticipated.

This year’s Homecoming dance takes place on Saturday, October 4th.  The theme for the dance is Winter Wonderland, and the dance is Sadie Hawkins.  In other words, the girls get a chance to take control and propose to their date as opposed to the norm of the boy asking the question.  And while just getting asked will suffice for some, a lot of Panther Creek girls took this opportunity to go all out and surprise their potential dates in creative ways.

Some, like Tammy Huang and Brianna Ross, surprised their dates while they were in class.  Others, like Sona Patel and Victoria Kwon, put their date on the spot in front of a huge crowd of friends.  Whether it is giving a pizza delivery guy an extra tip for writing “Homecoming?” on the box, or writing “HC?” in icing on a cookie cake, Panther Creek girls always try to go the extra mile. After all,  as Ingrid Michaelson says, “girls chase boys chase girls”.
