Panther Creek’s Spring Dance Concert, held on Thursday, May 15th, consisted of many symbolic performances and a senior tribute. The performance was choreographed by Panther Creek Dance students and Dance Company, containing a wide variety of dances such as: hip-hop, techno, and ballads. As senior Amari Jones stated, “each dance had its own meaning,” and that became evident as they performed. Departure, a WCPSS Pieces of Gold selection, tells a the story of when a close friend decides to change the path they were on, and leaves everyone behind. The concert ended with a senior tribute, where each senior dancer performed their own solo. Above is a video containing clips of each performance from the concert.
