Spring Dance Concert
Panther Creek High School recently hosted the annual spring dance concert. The show was composed of many performances from Dance 1, 2, 3, and the PCHS Dance Company. Each dance was choreographed by a student in one of the dance ensembles. This year’s spring concert was packed with emotion as the talented dancers brought an abundance of talent, coordination and beauty to each and every performance.
Dance allows people to express themselves in a creative and physical way. Sophomore, Lacie Bethers (Dance 1), says her favorite part about dance is, “despite our differences, everyone came together to make super fun dances and created lifelong memories.” Sophomore, Maria Esposto (Dance 2), said that her experience with dance was that, “Dance has been amazing! I have met the sweetest people and it has allowed me to express myself through movement.”
Dance company performed a tribute, “in honor of the many lives lost in the Wake County Public School this year.” This dance was choreographed by Marina Moore and Priscilla Zhou and the song was by Scott Glasgow. For the final dance each senior performed a forty-five second solo infront of a slideshow of their childhood photos. All the dancers worked very hard to make this 2015 spring dance concert a success.
