Why does the hot water get brown?
During my freshman year, I turned on the faucet in the 3600s bathroom and the water that came out had a brown color. Ever since that happened, i’ve been trying to get it on film in order to prove to my friends that I wasn’t crazy. I finally took that footage last week and In this video, I set out to find the source of the discoloration. Whenever the maintenance crews flush the boilers, it stirs up sediment that causes the brown hot water.
