This morning, a Wake County bus swerved off of Jenks Rd. At around 6:45 AM, a car hit the bus, and the bus veered off the road. Thankfully, no injuries occurred and everyone involved was safe. One of the students riding the bus confirmed that it was en route to Apex High School.

When we arrived on the scene, first responders hadn’t arrived yet. We got out of our vehicle and checked to make sure everyone was okay before documenting the crash. There was glass and pieces of scrap scattered all along the road, forcing cars to line up. This was the case for around ten minutes until the first police officer arrived on the scene at 7:01 AM.
