Every year, the Panther Creek student body awaits the announcement of the esteemed Mr. Catamount. This comes after a senior male pageant, where nine nominated seniors strut their stuff onstage. This is Panther Creek’s very own version of the traditional homecoming king. It’s a chance for our senior class to show off their skills, make people smile, laugh, and sometimes tear up. The competition consists of three main parts; runway, talents, and questions, with a few surprises in between.

PCNN asked all of the Mr. Catamount nominees to give us a clue as to what they’ll be doing in the talent portion of the competition:

Nathan Lee, contestant #1, described his talent as “an exciting talent that will flip you out of your seat.”

“My talent may make a few of you stand up,” said Alex Zietlow, contestant #2.

Malcolm Olesen, contestant #3, said “my talent is electrifying.”

“Exposing my one true love,” said Carson Fawzi, contestant #4.

“Mine will be a very attractive performance,” said Blake Benson, contestant #5.

Victor Eduardo, contestant #6, told us that his talent can be described as one word, “flawless.”

Ryan McNulty, contestant #7, says “every motion will create energy that will be absorbed by the audience to create perfect harmony.”

“I’m revealing my secret passion,” said Ian Pierno, contestant #8.

Ryan Callahan, contestant #9, says his talent will be “a real heartbreaker.”

At 7 pm on Friday, March 5th, we’ll all find out what the contestants are up to. Come out and support this year’s senior class and show some school spirit. After all the work and practice put into this show, we can’t wait to see what our catamount seniors have in store for us!
