Out of the 2,781 students at Panther Creek, some would suspect that the birthdays would be scattered almost evenly. Very little would assume that more than ten people share one birthday. After doing some research, PCNN found the most popular birthday to be on June 19th. This day includes nineteen students born from all different grade levels. PCNN interviewed some students that share this birthday to get their opinion. Mitchell Leblanc (Junior) thought that he only shared his birthday with two people. After we told him how he shares his birthday with eighteen others he replied, “Where did all these people come from!?”

The least common Birthday is December 15th being that no student in the school has this birthday. Besides December 15th, the second to least common birthday is November 5th with only one person having this birthday. We had the opportunity to interview this student, Sarah Heck, on her birthday.  She is a junior and just turned seventeen years old having no idea that she was the only person in the school with her birthday. When interviewed, we asked her how many students she thought that she shared her birthday with. Sarah responded with “about ten.” When we told her that she was actually the only person that has a birthday on November 5th she was shocked. She responded, “Really!? I don’t believe that!”
