Computer-less

“Media Center Closed”

On the 16th and 17th of November, Panther Creek went a total technology shutdown while the computers in all of the school were being fixed and changed.  This was great for the computers to be fixed, but that also caused a school-wide problem.  Most teachers use computers to teach their classes everyday and this caused some teachers to have trouble using the whole 84 minutes of a class period fully. Some teachers planned quizzes and tests for these two days since they knew ahead of time that they’d be without computers. For other teachers they planned “fun” activities to teach their students in a different way. The main office/attendance which usually relies on the student data base to find students if needed for dismissal or other reasons had to rely on four large packets of every students schedule in order to find them. PCNN decided to capture some of these situations while not having computers.
