Spirit Week 2016

Spirit Week 2016

Katie Hollering, Producer

The week of October third to October seventh was spirit week at Panther Creek High School. The week started off with movie character Monday, then twin Tuesday, next was wacky Wednesday, after that was PC pride Thursday, and last was flashback Friday.

On movie character Monday, Panther Creek had a variety of characters throughout the school ranging from Russell the boy scout from the Pixar movie “Up” to Lilo from the Walt Disney feature animation “Lilo and Stitch.” On Twin Tuesday there were five boys wearing their Autobell uniforms, a pair of twins actually twinning, and four girls dressed up as Teletubbies. During wacky Wednesday many students came in their wackiest and tackiest outfits with striped socks and mismatch shoes. On Thursday students dressed up in their most spirited Panther Creek attire wearing lots of blue, black, and white. Lastly, on flashback Friday freshman dressed in the sixties, sophomores dressed in the fifties, juniors had the eighties, and seniors had the seventies. Students could dress up as their class assigned decade.

Throughout the week we collected photos to see who was the most school spirited from each class. We noticed the juniors and seniors were more spirited than the freshman and sophomores during the week. Overall, spirit week was a success, displaying school spirit to all students and staff at Panther Creek.
