Pink sand of Pink Sands Beach, on Harbour Island the Bahamas, comes from Foraminifera, a microscopic marine animal with a bright pink or red shell.

Throughout high school, students can’t wait to become a senior, especially because seniors go on their senior trip. They get the chance to hang out with all of their closest friends for one last time in a unique place without their parents. This trip seems to be bitter-sweet for most, since it will be the last time with all of their friends before going off to college. Students plan to enjoy this last extravagant trip with their friends and to make memories and experiences that will be cherished forever.

We interviewed a variety of seniors in an attempt to figure out all the different places students will be traveling. Some plan on going to warm tropical destinations to relax on the beach, shop, and explore, while others plan on visiting colder climates to partake in activities such as skiing and snowboarding. Regardless of what everyone is planning on doing or where they are going, seniors are looking forward to having fun and getting to enjoy their last trip with their friends before college.
