Panther Creek’s Results at the DECA State Competition

Panther Creek students recently went on a trip to Greensboro for the DECA State Competition.  Students competed in a role plays and had different projects that they presented to the judges at the competition.

Panther Creek junior Jack Maple had two role plays which he used his “creative juices” for his quick serve restaurant management role play.  Jack did not place in either of his role plays but he believes he “got an A for effort.”  Michael Marand, Caroline Moore and Liz Howard worked together on the community service project, which they received second place in the state.  Caroline Moore and Liz Howard worked together on the role play and received first place in that category for the state.  Paul South worked on the creative marketing project and finished sixth in the state for his project.

The state competition was a three day trip from Thursday, March 9th to Saturday March 11th.  With all the down time, they got to hangout with friends and enjoy their experience.  Caroline Moore and Liz Howard both said they “had a blast” on the trip to Greensboro.
