When asked about what they are most excited for in Sophomore year, many sophomores responded that they were glad to no longer be the youngest in the school. According to our twitter poll, most sophomores say that they have not enjoyed their school year so far. When asked what they are excited about in the future, most sophomores answered that they are most excited for prom and being able to go off campus. Many consider their sophomore year to be the “awkward year” in which nothing really stands out. However, students get into the high school groove and learn how to handle the demands and workloads while figuring out what their interests are. Sophomore year is also a common year to join clubs and expand friend groups. This story gives a look into the class that is finding their way in High School.
