24 Hour Play Festival
The 6th annual 24-hour play festival will take place at Panther Creek High School, October 13th-14th. The event will feature a collection of short plays all of which are written, directed, teched and performed by students in a 24 hour period. The show will feature the work of 55 actors,10 playwrights,10 directors and 8 technicians.
“By having this 24 hour play festival, it gives those students that maybe don’t get in the (fall) play, or may not have time to commit their energy to six weeks of rehearsals, to have something that they can do and be really proud of in a matter of 24 hours.” Mr. Cox, theater arts teacher at Panther Creek, explained. Students are encouraged to attend and show their support for their fellow students and the PCHS thespian society. To see the hard work of those involved, you can head to the PCHS auditorium on saturday October 14th, the show will start promptly at 7PM and tickets are $5 at the door.
“It’s gonna be great,” said actor and student, Spenser Hulse.
