Many people refer to Apple as one for the most brilliant phone companies out there. Apple repetitively comes out with brilliant new phone ideas and different types of accessories that we use in our everyday lives. For example, the Apple Watch is a watch that allows us to use our phone without really having to turn our phone on or pull it out. With the upcoming iPhone 8 and 8 plus, Apple threw in something that would change the Phone community completely. The iPhone X,  introduced to the community on September 12th, 2017 through an interview, revealed some of the new functions and features the iPhone will be built with. Not only did it come with a variety of game changing functions it also came with its own huge price tag of $1,000 per phone.  Among the many features, one that stuck out was Facial Recognition. This function would give users the option to unlock their phones simply by using there face. The facial recognition feature really shocked people, bringing doubts and worries to many people who use Apple devices. PCNN asked how the PCHS students how they felt about it. In multiple interviews, students at Panther Creek all agreed that the new iPhone X is not worth it, explaining that with Apple coming out with the facial recognition they have doubts that it will work as well as they hope.
