2017 was a year of changes and challenges for many Panther Creek students. Seemingly, most students had a good year overall. Jessica Chen said her favorite memory was, “Friendsgiving, just a month ago. It’s the last Thanksgiving I’ll have with a lot of my High School friends and we all cooked and got together.” Many students expressed discontent with the current political situation in America, student Hewson Welkey said his worst memory was, “Everything Trump’s has done.” When asked what they learned in 2017, many stated that they should have taken easier classes, Jessica Chen said “ I learned that you can’t change other people and you just have to make sure you grow for the better.” As 2017 nears an end students expect that 2018 will be a better and more exciting year.
