Mr. Catamount Contests

Panther Creek News Network interviewed the upcoming 2018 Mr. Catamount contests.  For those who are unaware of this event, it is an annual talent show that exhibits Panther Creek’s most talented men.  These men have been perfecting their show for weeks now and the show was soon to happen when we interviewed them.  Contestants include: Jacob Cline, Spencer Pearce, Sheel Patel, Kevin Sebastian, Nathan Vance, Matt Dipasquale, Jack Reider, Jake Cramutola, Kesu Endalkachew, and Tyler Young.

What Are You Most Excited For?

Every contestant has never performed in front of a crowd of this scale.  Therefore, most of the contestants were quite nervous but excited as well.  In addition, over the weeks of preparation they had all formed a close brotherhood and were most excited to watch each other perform.  Specifically, Sheel Patel was most excited to watch Jack Reider hula dance in front of the school.  Spencer along with other contestants, were excited to perform their group dance that was choreographed by Panther Creek’s dance team.

Who Do You Think Will Win?

As some may know, judges are brought from all over the area.  This includes Bob, from “Bob and the Showgram.”  The contestants were then asked who they thought would win this years Mr. Catamount.  Most of them would obviously love to win the contest, but showed admiration towards other members.  Specifically, Spencer refers to Kesu as an “underdog” and felt that he had a good shot at winning this years contest.  Likewise, Kesu predicted that Spencer will win over the judges with his charming voice.  Lastly, they all wish the best of luck to one another.

To conclude the interview, the contestants were asked to preview their chosen talent.  The contests looked sharp and ready to perform.
