Panther Creeks Hot Rods
The Panther Creek Parking Lot has a lot of different cars from every make and model. Every car is different and has a different touch on it by their owners. PCNN decided to get an inside scoop on the different cars from Panther Creek from the students themselves to see what makes their cars so great.
Shea a senior at Panther Creek and a PCNN reporter. He showed us his 2012 Jeep Wrangler. Shea calls his jeep The Beast and his car really stands out in the parking lot as it sits on a big set of wheels. His Jeep also has a lift. Shea said his favorite part about his car is the paint job, which is a gray kevlar coating.
We also interviewed Matt Dipasquale, a senior, about his Dodge Ram Truck. Matts black truck, which he calls Nancy, for standing out in the parking lot. It is easily one of the biggest cars in the parking lot, but that’s not the only reason why. We asked Matt if he could rev the car’s engine a little bit for us and we were blown away. His truck is not only one of the biggest but its also one of the loudest.
We interviewed another PCNN reporter and senior, Noosheen Nader. She showed us her green 1998 Honda CRV. She said she named the car Jackie and her favorite part of her car is the dent on the front of the hood from where someone sat on it.
Here are a few polls we took about what kind of car and how loud the car should be. Most students had other types of cars than Honda, Toyota, or Acura. More students preferred quiet cars.
