The marvel movie Black Panther has created a lot of hype and anticipation towards it. We here at PCNN began to be curious on why such an unique response came from just a movie. Through reporting and polling we have researched our schools opinion on the the movie taking the world and social media by storm.

What is Black Panther about?

With the death of the previous Black Panther and king, T’challa is called to take the throne of the African Nation Wakanda. With such power and responsibility of his kingdom, T’challa is bound for a battle with a very dangerous and powerful enemy that is poised to dethrone and destroy him. Failure to beat out this opposing force could put Wakanda and the entire world on the path of destruction.With the fate of his kingdom and people in his mind, T’challa must call upon unusual and unpredictable allies to help him and maintain the safety his prideful nation.

Black Panther created pride in being African and celebrates the culture in several ways. We interviewed students at Panther Creek asking, “How did Black Panther show black culture?” One of the students said, “the music throughout the movie had African beats showing the music influence of the black culture.” Black panther was one of the best movies that marvel has created but many more are coming soon. The next movie marvel is producing Infinity Wars is creating a big hype already. April 26th will be coming around soon and many people are excited to see what’s coming next.
