If you went to Green Hope…

The rivalry between the Falcons and the Catamounts is a very strong one, that has existed since the start of Panther Creek. What do you think would be different if you went to Green Hope. How would the rivalry be different, or maybe what other friends you would have made and how would your academics differ?

Senior Abby Zadeits stated, “I believe Panther Creek strives more in academics and there is a lot higher standards here at Panther Creek.” For athletics Abby said, “Green hope is better at athletics,” Which is true as Panther Creek is losing the Fight for 55 rivalry between the two schools. Abby who is a Catamount Chaos leader does believe Panther Creeks School Spirit is better as she states, “Our student section was better.”

PCNN also interviewed Will Martin, a Junior at PCHS. Will says that he believes the rivalry between the two schools is very competitive but Panther Creek is definitely the better school. Will also agrees that Panther Creek is dominant academically, “We are for sure a lot smarter here at Panther Creek.”

Taylor Schlegel, a Senior here at Panther Creek, also believes Panther Creek is better academically and it has definitely has helped her to where she is now. Taylor says from a social aspect she thinks it would be very different at Green Hope as she already has a very good group of friends here and she’s not sure that she would really “mesh” with the students of Green Hope.

All in all, the social atmosphere, academic environment, and athletic competition at Panther Creek and Green Hope may differ in many ways. The rivalry between the two schools creates entertaining competition that Panther Creek and Green Hope students alike can find joy in.
