The Men’s basketball team here at Panther Creek High School has won the Tri-8 Conference Championship Game against Riverside-Durham. According to MaxPreps, the Catamounts are 21-6 overall this season. After beating Green Hope handily in the semi-finals, 77-53, the Catamounts beat Riverside-Durham, 57-43. The game was originally scheduled for Friday, February 21st, but with the inclement weather, the game was moved to the 22nd.

Riverside-Durham High School is 19-8 in overall play this season. Riverside-Durham played an overtime thriller in the semi-final game against Hillside High School, 60-59. 

Panther Creek are now back to back Tri-8 Conference Champions. Panther Creek moves on to the first round of the NCHSAA State Playoffs. Congrats on the Conference Championship and Good Luck in the State Playoffs Catamounts!
