As the 2024 school year opens, the long awaited Senior Premiere kicks off. Originally designed to be the annual Senior Sunrise, Hurricane Helene pushed the event back to the following week. With it, new changes to the event were the talk of the school. Games, food, and a movie were promised to the students, giving the event an exciting new headline. The Senior Premiere was an exclusively senior event, where the class of 2025 celebrate how far they’ve come.
The day leading up to the event, Panther Creek’s student council decided to cancel the movie, unbeknownst to the majority of the senior class. An overwhelming 65% of students were unaware that the movie was going to be canceled. Although the movie left students disappointed, many were satisfied with the contents of the food and drinks served. More specifically, at least 43% of students were somewhat satisfied with what was served. In addition, the Senior Premiere was successful in administering games with at least 77% of students being somewhat satisfied.
Altogether, the class of 2025 had mixed reviews regarding the Senior Premiere. As the year progresses, more senior traditions present themselves and students embark on their journey in the beginning of the end.
