Hey! I'm the Technical Manager for PCNN, and this is my first year being a part of the family. I'm a senior at Panther Creek High School, where I'm the president of the Gay-Straight Alliance. I'm Brazilian by blood but I was born in Framingham, MA, and I moved to North Carolina in 2011 from Boca Raton, FL. The thing I love most about journalism is the way it uncovers things people want to keep hidden. I believe an educated public is essential to democracy, and that to censor public knowledge is to degrade democracy.
