Panther Creek’s Chorus, Band, and Dance have an upcoming performance tonight. Here at PCNN, we dove behind the scenes to see how the arts are preparing.

Ella Lopez of the dance team commented, “We’re all super hard working and practice every Monday and Tuesday.” She speaks furthermore about the dance team’s tradition to perform for the women’s games. The Creek’s dance team has been together for two months now and has many new recruits.

They plan to perform at the next two basketball games. When reached out for comment Lila Gisondi said “We are ready for the games, and very excited about the men’s hip hop dance because I don’t get to do a lot of hip hop and the people who choreograph are really good.” Furthermore, the dance team is also looking forward to Christmas bows.

Lila Gisondi gave an insightful interview about the Dance Team’s preparations.

The band and chorus will also perform at the concert and have been prepping for a few months now and are expected to perform a number of Christmas songs and other holiday carols. Chorus’s Noah said his favorite song is Children Go Where I Send Thee, a newer, upbeat, gospel piece with a “happy and epic” finish. The band has also been practicing almost every day tirelessly for months to prepare for the winter performance. Over the last few weeks and months, they have learned all new music and are prepared to share it with their family and friends at the performance tonight.
